Build Excel importer in C#.net

I have already created a C# based application that reads excel and saves in sql database -->Will use Closed XML so that excel will not need to be installed where this application runs -->Please provide validation details.. All excel columns will be validated based upon the given rules before moving to database -->Criteria will be satisfied based upon the condition E.g new record or existing records (will have to look at the tables as excel file to discuss further about it) -->What is the deadline ? Hello I have almost 10 years of experience with C# and Microsoft .NET Framework Also, I am familiar with various frameworks for working with Excel files even if Excel is not installed (without Excel automation) Perhaps, one question - what is DB? Is it MySQL or MSSQL or something else? Thanks

For excel we need to use third party plugin (there are several free plugins available) since MS Word will not be there on server.
