Infrared based system for authentication | SOC Raspberry pi zero

Final product expected at completion of this project is:

There are two raspberry pi zeros:

1) Primary device

2) Configuration remote

Primary Device: This device is an iot device based on raspberry pi zero w, it has two major third party hardware components – an infrared sensor and a relay.

Configuration remote: This device is a raspberry pi zero w based device, which is to be used for configuring a primary device. A remote device has two major third party components, one infrared LED, and buttons.


When the remote device’s infrared led is in the direction of the primary device and the button is pressed it should turn on the Bluetooth of both remote and primary device. Devices should pair with each other and remote should send a Wi-Fi ssid and password. Then Bluetooth of both the devices should turn off and primary device should connect with the Wi-Fi router using received credentials.
