electonic circuit needed for a project.

Simple circuit required. I just need the diagram and i'll build it.
I have a PIR security light outside which has a wireless beeper that plugs into the mains inside, when motion is detected the light comes on and the beeper inside beeps for 8 seconds (Its not a continious beep, its on and off for 8 seconds then stops)
Now i want to attach a circuit to the beeper so when the beeper is triggered it will create a closed circuit for about 1/4 of a second then open up again.
My idea is to connect the circuit to a RaspberryPi GPIO input pin.
There are 2 things which are important :-
1, when the beeper is triggered it sounds for 8 seconds with a on off on off on off beep. I need my circuit only to close and open once during that cycle.
2 Also the circuit once triggered must not trigger again until about 15 seconds has passed since last trigger.
