Require Developmental Editing work to be done on my self help book

What is the essence of my book? Who am I? I am 32 year engineer who has been in the UK for the last 9 years, I found out 4 years ago that the job I was doing was unfulfilling in every way. It affected my personal life in a very bad way and this made me rethink my whole life. This is when I started my journey towards making severe changes to my lifestyle by doing a lot of research and studies to restart my life and do something that would make me happier and help those around me. As i researched ideas started developing in my head about what i wanted to do with my life and how I would reach those goals. Along with creating a new goal for myself I started simultaneously making improvements to myself to become a confident and better human being. I found out that there were a lot of people in this world who were frustrated and stuck with issues just like me but didn’t know what to do and so ended up living a life full of regret without ever being happy. As I was on this process of changing my world around, the idea for writing this book was born. This book became a guide to jump-start my life and thus helping others to achieve their goals became my goal. What I would like you to do? I do not have any experience in writing of any sort and will require a lot guidance on my first writing venture so that it gets into a readable format for my readers. I am looking for a person who loves their job as this will definitely reflect on the work they do. I know you do freelance editing so I am wondering if you: 1. Experience in writing for a target audience between the ages of 16 to 35 years. 2. Have developmental editing experience, I am mainly looking for someone who can make my book have a very good flow and clarity. I want this book to be the least boring or confusing to my young readers as possible. I know they have a very short attention span. I want my readers to be able to connect to the book on an emotional level. Lastly I want the readers to follow the practical’s I have laid out for them. 3. Have any experience in the Self-help genre. 4. Are available for a job for this month? 5. Have experience with the Chicago manual of style or any other related forms. I have written this book with British spellings. 6. Could you please send me a sample developmental edit for my first chapter? This book could be read by anyone who wants to make a difference to his or her life.
