Dir Sir, I migrated about 100 DBs of our users to the azure. In a lot of cases I have to merged the in one an then migrate to Azure. For that I did not use the SQL Server Management Studio and its options to migrate the Azure database because of the slowness and problems I encountered. Hi, Can you elaborate, are you migrating an entire virtual machine (using a lift and shift method i.e Azure Site Recovery), migrating only SQL into new build virtual machine or migrating SQL data into Azure SQL (Platform-as-a-Service)? In case of migrating entire virtual machine or migrating SQL into new Azure virtual machine, do you already have Azure infrastructure in place (subscription, network, Site-to-Site VPN etc.)? What is your goal with the migration, scalability, access or sustainability? I’m an enterprise architect working with Azure on daily basis.
