Description As a rockstar DevOps, you’ll be part of the development team working to ensure an extremely high quality of work is maintained through coordination with the architect and CTO. This is a full time position. Responsibilities - Support the AWS infrastructure - Evaluate the current architecture and make recommendations - Implement the approved recommendation - Work closely with the dev team to improve the deployment strategy - Work closely with the QA team to improve the pipeline automation (continuous delivery) - Manage the cost; perform cost forecasting - Any other connected tasks Requirements - 5y Experience as a DevOps - Strong experience with the AWS stack, including DynamoDB and other proprietary AWS services - Interest in e-commerce / B2B project - Experience in a startup preferred - Knowledge of MEAN stack (node.js app + angular front-end) is a plus - Knowledge in test automation is a plus - MEAN Test Framework like e2e, Mocka, Jasmine and Selenium - Cucumber Framework in Ruby - JMeter - Excellent communication skills (English is required) - Ability to participate in daily scrums and sprint meetings via Google Hangout - Experience in an Agile/Scrum context - Can work on Eastern time zone (from 8am ‘til 6pm, Montreal Time) You'll be joining a world class startup, working with team members from companies including Amazon, Google, IBM, Nokia, Ubisoft, Zynga, Ebay and Expedia. Hello and good day. I am experienced DevOps Engineer. Overall I have 10 years of IT background. I have hands on experience with AWS, Linux System Administration of Redhat, CentOS, Debian(Ubuntu), Git, Configuration management system of Puppet and Chef, shell scripting with bash, perl and python, continuous integration, monitoring tool e.g. Munin, Monit and Nagios, Ruby On Rails, PHP and javascript framework. I have experience to deploy rails application by using capistrano and also have experience to code recipe in RoR. I have experience with database of MySQL and Postgres. I have experience to configure and manage application server which handle 2.5 millions real web users per month on Linux stack. Process automation, deployment and maintenance of infrastructure experience by using configuration management tools e.g. Chef and Puppet. I am open for further discussion and available for interview.
