I would like to have excel document coded to export the data from the data entry excel sheet to the corresponsing microsoft publisher template.
I would like to fill in an excel sheet then populate multiple Microsoft publisher templates. Each cell in excel would populate to a different template based on information in those cells. I would have a cell that would reference what template to use. I can do all this with mail merge but it would require me to open each publisher template and chose the data, which is time consuming. I could have up to 50 different templates.

Here is the basic outline of the project:
1. select column A (SKU) value which will be a drop down with Data Validation
2. column B, E, G will use a vlookup to fill in the default values
3. column C, D, F values will be typed in by the user
4. macro button (not displayed) to run a command for all items in column (E) = straight or scallop
a. use the template in column (G) and insert values from B, C, D, F onto the template where the placeholder is located
b. create one publisher document with each row template on a separate page
I'm able to do all the steps above with a mail merge in publisher, but the problem is that each template needs to be opened and mail merge one at a time. I will probably have close to 50 templates to reference so it would become to time consuming.
If the user could input everything into excel and run a macro that would replace the mail merge it would work perfect.
