Hello, we need an online portal for a small commuter bus company that manages buses (for public transport) on behalf of private owners. The buses carry the public in and out of town at a fee, everyday. So the first element is to link each bus (Through its NUMBER PLATE + FLEET NUMBER) to its owner. Then, the buses have DEFAULT ROUTES, and assigned/variable PERSONNEL [login to view URL] dates have to be visible (obviously). These details must be attached to TABLE 1 TABLE 1 : Daily Revenue The buses have daily revenue and expenses [login to view URL], the TOTAL REVENUE is collected from waybills, then the following expense entries are substracted: - FUEL - SALARIES (Default to be set for quick entry) - EXPENSES (Default to be set, then additions suggested) - MANAGEMENT (Default to be set) What remains from the TOTAL REVENUE is the INCOME for the [login to view URL] of Table 1. TABLE 2: Accumulation The accumulation reveals a monthly perspective of the daily revenue table. It has these fields: - Date - Income (from Table 1, for that date) - Expenses (yes again, there's a default here but there can be an increase - they must be itemized+justified on a final field) - Net Income - (Income minus Expenses) - it can be positive and negative. - Accumulation (Aggregation of Net Income) - can also turn negative. - Expense Justification Field (field explain in bracket in Expenses field details) Expense Items vary, so it is better you allow us to create new entries. Consider this even for TABLE 1. This project should be deployed through a website that offer a link to member login (i.e. private owners) and the CMS administration team. So please allow for way to create such users so that there is complete control on accessibility and modification. Also, please allow for some database features like querrying like when requesting for a two week statement or a monthly one. This should be able at the individual user level and at the administration level for one or more users at once. IN OTHER WORDS, the admin team can seek the ACCUMULATION HISTORY of say 3 specific buses combined or in a comparative [login to view URL] a word, REPORTS. Please remember to insert an option for performance Charts. Finally, provide a means to download the databases in rendered files (like Excel spreadsheets or PDF) and to print friendly reports from web. Suggest on best technology for this (AJAX, JAVA, FLASH, or PHP????) It has to be data entry friendly. Send the best quotes!!!
