Do you have experience with Red5 Server and I believe the name of the software is Dolphin?
My goal is a 1 to 1 or 1 to many video tutorial session. Teacher and student (or students).
They must be able to:
1. Video and/or text chat live in a password-protected area;
2. Make Audio-only recordings, without video (if shy on camera).
3. Share documents, like pdf files or image files in a simple folder system.
4. re. folders: teacher can
a. lock/unlock her folders, and
b. create different folders for different students.
c. based on unique student id associated with the folder,
only that student may see and use that folder
It's possible that Dolphin (which is free, I believe) has most of these features, because it is a "social networking" app. based around Red5.
Please research Dolphin for Red5 to see if it would make a good starting point or not. I believe it is open source, but I have not looked at it in some time.
I can devote up to 150 to this project. If it works out, I can come up with more related projects.
If you do not feel proficient enough in Java or comfortable with Red5 or audio-video applications, please do not accept this offer. I don't want it re-outsourced. Thank you.
I'm sorry, I thought I was posting this privately to one person. I guess I will open it to bids. Please provide your Red5, Dolphin, and Java audio-video experience through PMB. My last posts in Freelance were disappointingly left undone. Do not bid if you are not an ACE Java programmer with audio-video expertise.
