I’am seeking an experienced web developer to convert a custom-designed blog website into a responsive "Wordpress Block Theme." The project involves transforming the existing design, which is based on sections, into modular "custom blocks" that can be easily configured.
The project have the following key components:
1. Home Page: Convert the existing home page design into custom blocks, allowing for easy rearrangement and customization.
2. Post Detail: Create a block-based layout for individual blog posts, ensuring a consistent presentation.
3. Category Layouts: Develop two different category layouts using custom blocks, enabling flexibility and easy customization.
4. Filters and Configurations: Implement filters on the blocks that allow to specify which posts should be shown based on a custom post type similar to tags or a specific category. The ability to order the results is also required.
5. Custom Post Limits: Enable the specification of the number of posts to be displayed on certain blocks, giving control over the content density.
6. Integration with Kadence Blocks Pro: Utilize the powerful features of Kadence Blocks Pro to accelerate the development process, ensuring efficiency and optimal results.
7. Custom Fonts: Incorporate custom fonts provided by me, maintaining the desired visual aesthetic and branding.
Key Requirements:
- Expertise in web development and WordPress Block Themes.
- Proficiency in converting designs into responsive and modular blocks.
- Strong understanding of WordPress custom post types, taxonomies, and ordering functionalities.
- Experience with Kadence Blocks / Pro and utilize it for accelerated development.
- Ability to integrate custom fonts into the WordPress theme (the plugin “Create Block Theme” helps).
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing a responsive design across various devices and screen sizes.
