Hello, I can solve those problems. Idea of swiss cheese: Calculate (volume of full cheese minus sum of volumes of holes)/(number of pieces). For the first problem I will calculate the mass of the cheese (subtract the masses that are missing because of holes) and divide it by number of holes, and then calculate this mass for z=0 to z= height of first cut, then for z= height of first cut to z=height of second cut etc. For the second problem, I will take given number of operands and look over all combinations (for example, 1+1, 1+2, etc). For a big number of operands, I can cancel 2 operands out by subtracting (for example, 5-5 reduces the number of operands by 2).
