It has to use the following steps in case working in traffic: - plat number detection - plat number recognition The plat number recognition will use the ocr (Optical Character Recognition) method, so you could extract the number from the image. Once readable, this will try to match with plat number pattern. Once the pattern recognized, then process done. You could continue for further process such as database, etc
