We are a rapidly growing medical practice with robust digital educational content. We're looking for writers to add to our blogging team. Please bid for a single trial article, but only if you are interested in ongoing work!

Likewise, fluid English is a pre-requisite because our blogs are intended to appeal to the american consumer. Formality is not necessary, however, and hurling around SAT words is discouraged.
Our practice focuses on 2 specific areas: 1. vein medicine and venous disease 2. Pain Medicine and interventional pain procedures.
This is an ongoing project, and we are looking for people who can commit to at least 1 blog post per week, ideally 2-3.
Blog are approximately 1000 words long and target a single long-tail keyword with a goal of ranking for that keyword and capturing a snippet.
Blog posts are intended to be informative but written in a lively and engaging fashion (similar to a popular science magazine). Our target demographic is American men and (predominantly) women ages 30-70.
The ideal person will :
-Be a fluid and engaging writer; native english speaker or equivalent.
-Write engaging, entertaining content that appeals directly to the reader.
-No need for experience in science or medical writing, but you must be able to break down scientific and medical stuff for the average consumer. We have doctors who can help explain things initially.
-Have some experience in or understanding of SEO, OR be a very quick study and willing to learn. Ideally you will know how optimize a blog post for a single keyword/search query, analyze competitor websites to make sure appropriate content is included, perform on-page SEO, write metatags and metadescriptions, structure an article to capture a snippet. We provide a detailed template for SEO purposes, so don't be intimidated if this is greek to you, just plan on doing a little bit more research (and picking up a valuable skill set! heyo!)
-Ultimately our priority is to find awesome writers who keep people on the page!
Pay: We pay our current team $20-80 a post depending on skill, experience and ability to make posts rank. Our writers tell me that the first few posts took 3-4 hours to write, but a few weeks in they can write a post in 30 minutes flat since they are more familiar with the structure and content. Pay is negotiable, but we would prefer to pay a reasonable amount for an initial trial post with the understanding that this will turn into a longitudinal position of the writer does a good job. The initial up front investment goes both ways (training for us, learning for you!)
