[VERY IMPORTANT note: I am hiring some of the bidders as consultants for several hours. They MUST NOT bid right now, if they do I will not be able to hire them] This project is of a historic nature. For the first time scenarios about the tragedy that occurred in Dealey Plaza, Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963 at 12:30 pm are being subjected to a study using up-to-date science and technology. The chosen Freelancer should have in-depth knowledge of Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics. S/he should have years of experience using the ANSYS Workbench software. An engineering degree, preferably graduate level studies are requirements. Please watch these 3 videos made for illustration purposes: [login to view URL] What I need is a much improved version. These 2 videos provide very important background information: [login to view URL] (Part 1) [login to view URL] (Part 2) In your simulation you will include the interactions between a cranium, cerebrum material and bullet. Instructions about parameters such as locations, muzzle speed, bullet dimensions, etc. will be provided. I cannot possibly be in real time constant communication with the Freelancer. The chosen worker should use the LARGE, much richer interface in the Freelancer website and leave messages which will be responded depending on my day job and your time zone. I will do my best to accommodate your working hours. The payment will be done through two milestones. I expect every file to be delivered on demand, even before the final product is ready. If you are the type of professional who believes on keeping some files, on not sharing your knowledge, please do yourself and me a favor: go click elsewhere, best of luck. All your production will be uploaded to a public web server. Universities and scientific center worldwide will be invited to inspect, duplicate and criticize your work. Therefore, you must provide detailed instructions and all files necessary. -Ramon F. Herrera JFK Numbers ps: Stay safe!

Hello Ramon, Greetings! Hello there, Greetings! I am a postgraduate CAD/CAM Engineer and serving the automotive industry with my high proficiency in FEA and 3D CAD modelling. I have been using Ansys for FEA in order to design and optimisation and Autodesk Inventor for 3D CAD Modelling. With shear strength of all materials to be penetrated known, we can perform the similar simulation. I have previously performed such simulations of a bullet penetrating a layer of composite material and its effect on the bullet as well as materials, this is an explicit condition. I can share that example with you in the chatbox or visit my portfolio in my profile. I am highly proficient in following modules of Ansys: 1. Static and transient structural 2. Fatigue life determination 3. Rigid and Explicit dynamics 4. Modal analysis and random vibration 5. Fluent(CFD) and Thermal 6. Electromagnetics For FEA I use best mesh setting for the profile and close convergences to provide with accurate results. I have more than 4 years of industrial experience, and have worked in ISRO-SAC and Magna Cosma (Tier1 Ford). Feel free to contact me, and I will provide you with the best deal and solutions for your task. I can send you few of my previous work samples too or you can visit my portfolio to have a look at my work. Looking forward to working with you and making your task a success. Regards, Kartik Sheladiya

Hello I am a mechanical and aeronautical enginneer. My graduate thesis was abaout FSI (fluid-structure-interaction) and I have been working as a FE engineer for 5 years. Honestly, this project is really tough one and it needs combination of many disciplines from material to mechanical engineering with strong numerical analysis background. I have several ideas about how it should be modelled and pls send me message via chat for more information. Best regards.

Hi, I have totally 7 years (5-New Product Development & 2 Current Product Improvement) experience on CAD/CAE. First five years working as a design executive at Rane TRW Power Steering Systems(Hydraulic Products 180bar pressure) Last two years working as a lead engineer at Becton Dickinson(Design and analyse implant products). I have a team with 15 members. We provide Autocad, Solidworks CFD, Ansys workbench CAD & CAE support. So our work based on magic bullet theory correct.

Hello, your work is an explicit dynamics analysis, it won't be recommended to do it using CFD solver we can double check using it but preferably we would do it only in Explicit dynamics solver I had done many many penetration test for bullets, and familiar with this kind of works, so we will try 2 ways, first will be done using explicit dynamics, and second will be using FSI (Fluid-solid-interface) Regards

I have been working in a large consulting firm dealing with various Medical devices product design simulations for Top MedTech manufacturers since 2010. I have worked on simulations of Human models. I have a through understanding of the Finite elements analysis and performed various simulations since my Master's in Mechanical stream. I have performed drop test simulations at 1m height as per IEC 60601 standards. Looking forward to work on these simulations and provide the best visualisation plots. Smiles, Rajesh
