Help me writing simple c# code to update postgres table

I have created a simple project in C# using npgsql / VS2015. It shows a login form asking for Postgres server, username, password, and database. When login completed, it lets select a table. Then it shows the contents of the selected full table in a datagrid. I am able to change contents in the datagrid. I want an update query (pressing an UPDATE button) that will let me update table based on modified datagrid contents. If possible, I will like to be able to initially select database from a combo box at login time (after giving server, user name, and password). Regards.
