This project is to create an exe to run a dll.

Ordinarily this dll (an equalizer) is an audio plug-in. It's called "classic EQ".

It's a freeware you can see here:

The exe will be launched by a batch file located in the same directory as the dll.

The batch file must be able to load a 'preset'. Project includes providing one sample preset. The plug-in supports presets.

The batch file should have a 'switch' that will allow the dll to do it's job invisibly in the background, or be displayed to the user.

It's an audio application, and it must apply the equalizer to whatever sound is being played (if master volume and 'wave' controls can control the volume, then the equalizer should apply to it.

If it's less work for you must specify a player, the name of the player (which will be located in the same directory) must be a 'string' in the exe, or specified in the batch file.

That String must be editable using reshacker. This is one of the most useful programming tools ever invented. It's freeware, and you can get it here: [url removed, login to view]

This demands that the program must not be compressed with an 'exe compressor', and the resource must follow a standard layout.

I don't care what programming language you use ([url removed, login to view], please - I don't want anyone to have to install the framework files for this), but try to make it as small as reasonable possible.

Be prepared to communicate with me, and please know that a screenshot is not a demo :-P And, of course, you need to submit the source files when the project is complete.

I have posted jobs in the past that got bids in the thousands of dollars, but were settled for just a few bucks. Please be competitive in your bidding. Don't worry if you don't have any feedback - your comments showing your grasp of the job will be more important than any

other concern.
