You are to reveal the source of finance, clearly and why you chose your venture. Issues such as IP and premises should be dealt with under operations. Each business plan will require a considerable amount of time to be spent in market research, a search for suitable premises etc. outside of the normal lecture and seminar times. Business plans will be marked as much for the quality of research that has gone into them as for their likely business viability. The cover page of the business plan must show the name of the business, the name, student number and international email address of the author. Business Plan Requirement: Write a business plan for a new business that incorporates and applies aspects of engineering or technology. It should be written in a conventional format, that is; with an executive summary, introduction and background stating the aims, objectives and opportunities of the proposed business. Clearly demonstrate the justification for the demand for the product or service, describe how you intend to advertise and promote the product or service, define your organisation structure and business strategy, describe how you will operationalise the business, and provide forecasts of likely sales, profits, cashflows and accounts. You MUST provide details of the required finance, what type of finance will be selected and, if provided, what it will be used for.
