We are a leading Digital Healthcare Platform in India. We are looking for a technical writer to document our software architecture, product features and development processes. The work will involve a 3 month full time commitment working from our office situated in HSR Layout, Bengaluru.
Educational Background: Engineering degree or Post graduate degree in English or Mass communication/Journalism
Experience in documenting software products, software systems/architectures and processes
Excellent technical communication skills with an eye for detail
Good technical acumen, ability to understand and interpret highly technical information pertaining to complex software applications for clear and concise documentation
Well versed in Technical Writing concepts, practices, and procedures. Ability to write an outline for new documents and design the information flow
Generate error free documentation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in producing user documentation including installation guides, configuration guides, API guide, Online Help or similar
Ability to work with Subject Matter Experts (Technical Architects, Software Engineers etc.) to understand the scope, requirements, functional specs and other technical documents
Ability to work with developers, testers and other members to coordinate design and information gathering; as required to understand and document the product
Well versed with Google Docs and Microsoft Office (including Visio)
Good to have skills-
Ability to tag and develop context sensitive help for the product environment.
Experience in creating videos for software applications.
Familiarity with documentation tools like Adobe FrameMaker 12, RoboHelp 11 and Adobe Captivate & Illustrator
