I was an avid runner in high school, nominated captain of the track team my sophomore year. Freshman year I was placed on both the 4x1 and 4x4 relay teams, as well as given one of the two spots in districts in the 400m dash. I continued to run the 400m dash as well as the 300m hurdles and 100m dash throughout high school, and participating in relays at the important meets. Saucony was my go to running shoe for distance and conditioning practice, and Nike Zoom Rivals were my go to for the 300m hurdles and 400m dash, as I went through 2 or 3 pairs per season, and they were a cheap option. I wore Saucony lightweight spikes for my sprints.
