I’m looking for a part time content writer for my client(15-20hrs/wk) with the possibility to increase to full time (40-50hrs).
You MUST be VERY well written. You must be able to write both long form blogs/articles (1000-2000 words) as well as shorter sales/ad copy. You must be able to write persuasively. You must be able to take topics, ideas and notes that we give you, and convert them into well constructed, congruent pieces of content.
You must be able to format content attractively. You should be practiced at using section headers, line breaks, lists, quotes, images, etc. to breakup large content sections. You must be able to use font color, weight, style, etc to highlight key words, phrases, or ideas.
In addition to content writing, you will be asked to format and post your content on websites, into email newsletter form, and on social media. You should be able to use the following systems:
-CMS systems such as Wordpress and Weebly
-E-mail platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Send in Blue, Send Grid, etc.
-Social platform posters such as Hootsuite, AgoraPulse, Buffer, etc.
The more you know about writing for SEO, the better. If you’ve done keyword research for blogs or web content before, that’s a plus.
Time of day - you need to be available at least two hours a day, three days a week, sometime 8a-3pm EST time. You can do the rest of the design work on your own time, but to communicate we need at least this much overlap.
