Hi, here is some part of an article I have produced about Korean Beauty Routines. I can send you more examples.
The 10-steps Korean beauty regimen may sound intimidating. But for Korean women, ‘the more is more’ when it comes to skincare, and it’s hailed as the reason for their flawless, glass-looking skin.
It’s all about achieving a healthy and radiant skin from within. It may consume a little more time, but the results are worth it in the long run.
So, here are the 10 steps.
1. Prep and pre-cleanse
The first step is definitely the double cleansing. First of all, use an oil-based cleanser to remove oily gunk out of your skin such as sunscreen, mascara on your lashes, or long-wear lipstick. Now rinse!
2. Deeper cleanse
Then, clean your face again using water-based, or foam cleanser for a more in-depth cleanse. This will whisk away any remaining residue that settles in your face.
3. Buff, buff, and exfoliate
Well, you don’t always have to exfoliate everyday (especially if your skin is sensitive), but keep in mind that exfoliating with a natural scrub at least twice a week will clear off dead skin cells and bring your skin back to its former glory, like when it was as soft as a baby’s butt.
4. Tighten up with toner
Korean toners are totally a different breed, they will re-hydrate and clarify your skin after you cleaned it so many times, while also restoring your skin’s pH balance so any products you apply later will be absorbed more efficiently.
