This is an EXPERT level project and is technical in design, and must be started NOW. Reliable, highly experienced developers only please.
You must speak fluent English, and you must be able to start work NOW.
NOTE: You must put the words “I UNDERSTAND THE TERMS” in your bid post to show that you have read and understand all of the project terms 100%, or your bid will be ignored. Thank you.
The project is to create a cross platform app that will connect to the users Outlook calendar, look for any scheduled "net meeting" invite within 15 min, launch the appropriate web meeting application (WebEx, Bluejeans, or Lync) and the user either joins or starts the scheduled meeting, next the user will be able to "mirror" the users device screen to the meeting room smart TV.
The main "app" needs to be cross-platform, and be compatible with Windows, Android, and iOS minimum, so that the user can launch the app from any platform.
Each of the solutions for this task have an SDK/API that will need to be researched, so that we know exactly what functions can be controlled, and how we can make each application in this chain of processes do what we need them to do.
One choice for an open source "mirroring" software I found is called "Connect" at [url removed, login to view], but it appears that the SDK for this app can only be integrated into Cordova development. If Cordova is not a coding option to make the app, then we will need to locate another "mirroring" application that will work with the code base we will be building the app in, (ie. Cordova, Xamarian, AIR,..) and it obviously must have an SDK/API for us to integrate with.
What code base will be best to use? (ie Cordova, AIR, Xamarian, etc.) the main app needs to built cross platform, for both cost, and to be cross platform compatible with Android, iOS, Windows. I am open to discussing what the best choice is to code it.
The "app" we build will communicate via SDK/API with the user’s Microsoft calendar. I think this has to be via Azure, since there is apparently some limitation with the API and its in beta or something like that, but the client does has a new Azure environment that can be utilized to link with the Microsoft calendar via Azure) b for “dumb” tvs), and mirror the users device screen to the TV, and make the call.
The “app” will then check the users Outlook calendar via API/SDK for the next scheduled “net meeting" invite. We will will check 15 min fwd and 15 min back for any invites. then the app will open the appropriate program for the call via API/SDK (either; WebEx, Bluejeans, or Lync.) The user starts/joins the web meeting and views it on the user’s device.
Next, the user’s device will be able to mirror the users device screen to the smart TV in the meeting room. This will be done via the mirroring software that we decide to use. The mirroring function will be initiated by the app via the API/SDK for the mirroring application that we use.
I will pay 50% of your fee into the project escrow at 50% completion of the work. Upon completion and approval by the client the balance 50% will be funded and the full payment released to you. The selected developer will be able to retain the project source files until after you are paid in full on completion of the project and client approval.
There will be NO upfront escrow/milestone payments. Deposits/escrow payments being paid up front, before any proof of production has been shown, has been an issue. Many developers here will claim to have the skills to do the work, then start, and then decide they can’t do it. Then they either take the deposit, or the funds are tied up in Freelancer for weeks.
This payment method will prove that the developer will finish the work, and that the developer will get paid in full, and that the funds will be safe in escrow.
This is an EXCELLENT opportunity for someone interested in future work. There are MANY more projects to follow this one for the right person!
