Electronic Hardware Design for remote controller for IOS & Android

We are developing a remote controller that will connect to IOS & Android mobile devices through Bluetooth(or BLE) and allow for control of audio (play/pause, volume up, volume down, next tract, previous track) and communication controls (start call, end call, push to talk). The Device will have 4 buttons (see [login to view URL]). Deliverables: 1. Technology (BLE vs Bluetooth classic) selection 2. Chipset selection 3. PCBA layout files (all types of files including gerber) 4. Working physical prototype for PCBA with example IOS application (to test 4th button). 5. Source code for chipset 6. Production Files. Design Requirements: • Media Controls work with all platforms without app (IOS & Android) • Push to talk button works with Remote. • Bluetooth module with antenna and certifications (FCC, IC, CE) • Chip costs less than $12 in quantities of more than 1000 • 2 PCBs(design with breakout, see example design below for details) • Accord to our dimensions (we might change dimensions later) Available Resources in attached to this document: 1. If you are a team with those capabilities we will prefer that. Price is negotiable. It will depend on what the estimated costs from Freelancers are.
