Calculation of Mie scattering in C#:
1. Generate C# code for calculation of Mie scattering (Translate existing code BHMie C++/MATLAB, or another package into C#)
2. Report scattering at two angles (range/span of angles for integration of scattering will be provided)
3. Use scattering intensity at two angles (S1,S2) to calculate the volume and refractive index (based on published theory for red blood cell / RBC analysis). The latter allows calculation of RBC volume and hemoglobin concentration from two scattering intensities. The inversion: S1,S2->Volume,Hemoglobin is non-analytical, but can be done with a direct numerical inversion (see attached paper of Python implementation), or with a lookup table + interpolation.
My own translation of the code BHMie from C++ to C# BHMie_Max is attached, but is not finished. Other versions include BHMie in Matlab (which makes use of built-in Bessel functions -- these are generated recursively in C code), RBC [login to view URL] has another MATLAB version following attached paper on Red Blood Cell analysis (RBC).
