Credit Collection Consultant

A technical company in need of a debt collector to recoup money owed from a single client. This is a freelance position so you will be responsible for your own income tax. In your cover letter, please provide fees and fee structure. Willing to consider any form of payment including commission, hourly or a combination of both. As the Collections Agent, you will; Review, investigate and analyze account to determine the client's ability to repay the debt Create a plan of action plan to recoup money and get approval from business owner Contact customers by phone or email to request payment or negotiate payment arrangements Manage incoming correspondence received from clients and determine actions required Maintain account records and the status of the collection’s efforts Review and recommend solutions for escalated client’s complaints Other duties as required What to you need to work with us: Minimum 5 years commercial credit and collection experience Knowledge and experience with the Canadian system Experience with credit related legal documents and commitment letters Knowledge of the legal system with regards to suing for debt collection Strong negotiation and problem solving skills Exceptional interpersonal, communication and telephone skills.
