On [login to view URL], the widget is what we call the 'Book an Appointment' button that we place on our medical practices' websites to allow patients and potential patients to book appointments directly from their website. We need to build a javascript wrapper for our advanced widget so that we can deploy it to local providers at scale.
We've built advanced widgets where a times grid can be integrated into a partner site to render the full doctor availability times grid instead of just a book an appointment button. Here's the documentation describing their implementation: [login to view URL]
The initial design of the advanced widget worked well for our health system sites, which follow a directory format where a provider has a listing page and a profile page, but they don't work as well for our local clients, where there isn't a natural place to put a singular times grid on the main doctor profile.
