Adding a few things to a WordPress based website

I am trying to edit a website for someone but do not have time to learn how to do it. The website at [login to view URL] I am looking to add an additional menu option to the top toolbar called TOOLS When that button is pressed I'd like a page to come up (in the same format as the other pages on the site) that has simple text descriptions and links to a few PDF files and Powerpoint files I have. At this point I do not need the actual PDFs or PPT's embedded into the website, just a text description and a link to them.
