I've read a few projects lately with buyers saying they've been burned by freelancers, and have had to repost projects because of bad service. It doesn't have to be this way.
Save yourself time and money by realizing no one is going to give their 100 percent best for a low paying assignment. If you offer someone a job requiring $500 worth of work, but you only want to pay $100, then you're going to get $100 worth of work. It's all too easy to accept a low paying job, take the money, and then do a quick, crappy job or no job at all. But usually, when people are paid professional rates, they provide professional work worth your money. Also, always view a freelancer's portfolio before hiring them so you can judge the quality of their work.

Thank you very much for this advice as I believe that a lot of freelancers are also getting carried away and bidding rates at which you just cannot get the job done. Buyers who choose freelancers based on ultra low rates face this problem of getting burned as the providers either don't know how to do the job or else do not have the wherewithal to do it within the quoted price... Providers are also to blame at times as I see someone has copy pasted a quote into this also :) Regards Sanjeev
Thank you for the reminder and you're right. There some projects with budget way too low and it's definitely very fishy if still a lot of people bidding on it. In the beginning yes I got carried away bidding the project. Now as it goes I started to the hang of things and became selective on the projects because don't want to end up doing something at ridiculously low price.
I can complete this project for you successfully and on time. I will put time and effort into this and it will show. Having just graduated from a university I know how to work hard. Included in my bid is live 24/7 Customer Care. Thank you. Leave me a private message if your interested.
