I would like to build a secure e-commerce website that will be selling solar and green energy products. The brand theme is based on this package we have selected for our corporate theme ([login to view URL]). A banner can be used but it must not be narrow and not too prominent.
We would like it to be very responsive, easy to navigate, and allow extra information on products to be shown when people click on a product. Also, because products have accessories, we would like the accessories to be shown when a customer is busy perusing the product they are interested in PLUS suggest what other products are available or other customers purchased in addition to that particular product.
We would like a section where this week's or this month's special can be displayed. We would like products to be added and removed easily.
The currency shown will be USD and we would like all payment options to be available, i.e. PayPal, Google Wallet, Apple, Visa, etc etc. and also direct EFT deposits.
Very importantly, the website must be able to do some background accounting, of what is selling, what the sales are, inventory, etc etc. If something is out of stock, we would like the capacity of people paying and placing backorders.
It must also be able to tie into the main worldwide courier companies, like DHL, Fastway etc etc. It must be able to provide people with estimates of delivery costs to anywhere in the world.

I have gone through your requirement. After going through it I think Magento will be best option to develop this. We can also use custom PHP coding to create the shopping cart but that may buy some more time.
We need to know if there will be any category or sub category for the products.
Do you want tracking system any for delivery?
Now we also need to know the shipping module. What is the target audience for selling these products? According to that we can also suggest you the internet marketing to increase your sale.
Finally it comes for stock maintaining. In magento you can maintain the stock also from the website.
Surely we can integrate the shipping companies if they APIs are provided.
Future scope of this application is building APP and SEO.
