Build a Marketplace Website For Machinists

Hello.

We are looking for someone to help build a marketplace website for digital fabrication / cnc services. [login to view URL] (basically a freelancer website for cnc machinists)

We need an interactive website where makers can register and create a profile and show sample work.

Users can find these "makers" either through services provided, ratings or location.

Example: I need someone to 3d print or laser cut an object. So I search the website for makers with a 3d printer and see who lives the closest to me (or someone with the best rating or experience, etc). I click on their profile and start a conversation about our project. Once project is set and a price agreed, a payment is made and the job is started.

So I need a website that starts off with a simple page as a home page (such as [login to view URL]). Just a search button and select a project type with main categories are 3D Printing, CNC Routing / Machining, Laser Cutting, Vinyl Cutting and Design Services. The home page preferably will be a typical minimalist one page site with all explanation of what we do.

The real reason we need someone is to develop the search results page. The majority of the site is simple, with simple minimalist pages explaining the goal, news, etc. We need someone to develop a great registration and used profile which will be linked to search results.

So in the images below is a simple mockup (still needs to be redesigned, but as a basic reference). First image is the home page with search, etc. Second image is what the user will see in the search results. Then after clicking on a result they will be directed to a company or individual's profile page.

The profile page will need to be very user friendly and show a lot of details, images and other information as well as have an integrated messaging system.

Here is the proposal: The first payment of $100-$500 is to get a mockup made (not for the whole project, just to get things going) and get the initial designs coded and created. I do want a working prototype of the site, but does not have to be a finished product. If I like the results we can continue on a weekly basis where I pay you for the services and if everything starts rolling, we would like to hire someone for a more permanent role.

I prefer a local coder from the US as communication works out the best. If you are not a 100% fluent English speaker please do not bid as it will become impossible to communicate the ideas online.
