1. General requirements
The general requirements are:
• a form or multi-forms to illustrate all related activities;
• at least five sets of relevant stock items;
• validation of input data technique.
2. Specified requirements
2.1 Sales
- calculate the total amount of each sales transaction;
- list down the summary of daily sales record;
- collect data from Marketing record to update the selling prices.
2.2 Inventory
- check the quantity of each stock;
- collect data from Sales record to update the inventory record;
- add, edit or delete individual stock item.
2.3 Purchasing
- check the purchasing quantity and price of each stock item;
- collect data from Inventory record to determine when to purchase new stocks;
- add, edit or delete individual purchased item.
2.4 Marketing
- collect data from Sales record to list out the most salable items in ascending order;
- set the selling prices for all stock items;
- collect data from Profit & Loss record and Sales record to list down for each stock item the
actual selling quantity, the predicted selling quantity to achieve 20% profit, and their
differences.
2.5 Wage
- record down the working hours and hourly rate of each employee;
- add, edit or delete individual employee record;
- print out on screen the monthly wage report.
2.6 Profit & Loss
- calculate the monthly profit and loss;
- print out on screen the monthly sales report;
- print out on screen the monthly purchasing report.
