The term individual paper and presentation is typically an individual study carried out by a student on a topic related to the class lectures. This topic could be the investigation of the use of simulation in the student area of specialization in engineering. Selection of the topic is made by the student in consultation with a lecturer where any reasonable proposal will be acceptable.

Each paper will be presented orally at the end of the semester, and also in the form of a written report due on the last week of classes.
