Hi, we have the following issue:
We manage our server with Plesk.
We use Dovecot and Postfix.
We have 2 SSL certificates. One for [login to view URL] and one for [login to view URL]
Please check the screenshot for our domain name.
We have installed a Thawte SSL certificate for our mailserver ([login to view URL]) and replaced the self-signed SSL certificates created by Plesk in the following folders:
/etc/dovecot/private/[login to view URL]
/etc/postfix/[login to view URL]
We stopped and restarted service:
service psa stop all
service psa start
SMTP server seems to be fine
Test on [login to view URL] gives positive result
Anyhow, for POP3 and IMAP we still do not manage to connect via secure SSL connection as apparently our certificate is self-signed.
Who can help with this issue using TeamViewer or giving a detailled description how to solve this issue?
If you place on a bit, please give me a concrete idea what you will do, otherwise I will not be able to consider your bid.
Thank you!
Your described steps as for how you configured the certificates shows incomplete set up procedure. This is why I believe you missed the necessary set up required to get POP3 and IMAP to work with your replacement SSL certificate. What I plan to do is to simply troubleshoot your installation of the SSL certificate for your Plesk environment and make sure that: 1) You have generated certificates for all necessary domains/services, 2) All new certificates are properly configured in all necessary files and their respective locations for each service.
Ich glaube das wird alle Ihre SSL Probleme Lösen.

Hi. I can help you with this right now (if you are still here). I want to do the following:
1) Verify that certificates is located in right place.
2) Verify that dovecot have been restarted properly.
