Priority 1: A new SSL Certificate has been installed on my server. I now need an Apache rewrite/redirect configured to resolve the error:
"Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Reason: You're speaking plain HTTP to an SSL-enabled server port.
Instead use the HTTPS scheme to access this URL, please."
I am a mod_rewrite newbie struggling with a busy schedule, so I would like someone to configure mod_rewrite to remedy this.
Priority 2: A cron script has been setup to ban IP addresses that repeatedly try to hack into the server. Ensure that this has been properly configured and is working properly. A double-check of iptables and the security settings on the server is also required.
