I need someone to configure my RB750 to act as a firewall/web filter to curb the illegal downloading of copyrighted material. No other special setup is needed. The RB750 will sit behind a SuddenLink modem. Approximately 3 ports will be used and the network is a mix of wired and wireless clients.
The SuddenLink modem should continue to act as the DHCP server, and no static IPs are required.
Regarding your project, I wonder if you need to block ares/bittorrent and direct download sites to your LAN.
I have a solution for this using a mix of Firewall+OpenDNS dns blocking.
But this will work only in this scenario:
MODEM <-> RB750 <-> LAN
RB750 has to be the nat/dhcp router to filter all the content that LAN users wants to browse/download.
