I run a bookkeeping business & am looking for some software that I can use to assist with our services. Core features -Cloud-based program available from anywhere with internet access, iPad, Mac or PC. - work offline mode also - i.e. if internet goes down that it would work with last data available & sync data when connection is restored. - Should have ability to install locally also. - Mobile app client for windows, IOS & Android which would be more for getting reports from system than data entry. -Point of sale interface integrated into core accounts system. Multi store integration into central database required. 1. Stock management. - ability to maintain stock levels. 2. Sales 3. Integrated payments. 4. Payment types i.e. Standing orders, Direct debits, cash transactions cheques etc 5. Pricing & promotions. 6. Receipts 7. Products 8. Inventory 9. Retail back office processes 12. User management -ability to have differing role types. 13. Integration & accounting 14. Hosting and operations 15. Account maintenance 16. VAT reporting. 17. Customisable fields on customers, vendors, products. 18. Ability to edit transactions. 19. Security Log on transactions. 20. Multi company. 21. Ability to import transactions. 22. Hi, my name is Boris and I'm leading a software development team, with offices in UK and continental Europe. I'm trying to give you perhaps a bit different reply than you may get here on Freelancer, so let me know if it sounds like a good proposal with you. I've been building accounting software for a while and worked in Deloitte as well. Recently I built UK cloud based accounting software about to be launched soon, so I'm quite familiar with VAT schemes, tax, etc. I could demo functionality of it which includes things from your list: sales, purchases, reporting (trial balance, balance sheet, nominal list, profit/loss, aged debtors/creditors), multi tenant/company, multi user, company/user management, transaction log, journal log, editing manual journals, trial balance checks, full responsive and fast (AJAX), cloud hosted on Azure, bank data import, bank reconciliation, VAT reporting, VAT and year end functionality. Features that I didn't mention that you requested are not an issue to be developed and I could jump into them with couple of my developers. I got 2 mobile developer to engage on mobile/tablet apps for Android, iOS and Windows Phone, and I've done POS with specialized equipment, PDA devices (intermec, motorola) and other. I can also meet you in UK or possibly Ireland to start up work on this and discuss timing, pricing and features in more detail. I'm just submitting rough estimates here. Cheers, Boris Todorovic.
