I am currently seeking an experience Linux SA with a strong knowledge of squid proxy server.\r\n\r\nI have a concept in mind that requires:\r\nUbuntu 14.04+\r\nHTTPS capable squid-cache proxy 3.5 (preferred) \r\n\r\nThe build, any compiling and configuration must be documented in english and repeatable.\r\nThe 1st wave of development will be on your own machine. testing and confirmation will be performed on our hardware.\r\n \r\n So the steps I have sketched out (and performed) are: Launch Ubuntu Instance (5-6 minutes in AWS) Download Squid-Cache (2-3 minutes) build Squid-Cache package with SSL (5-8 minutes) compile Squid-Cache (5-8 minutes) Install .. (10 minutes) Configure [login to view URL] for HTTP/HTTPS (30-60 minutes) Document steps and inputs (25 minutes) I don't have the squid background to complete the configuration. I tried for many hours and see now it is best to start with fresh set of eyes. The documentation doesn't need to be an award winning novel, simply the lines of input on the terminal eg. >apt-get update >apt-get upgrade
