We have an PHP application that we have compiled via [login to view URL] This project is to create the init.d and configuration files necessary to run a hiphop php compiled service on an Ubuntu 10.10 installation.
The following thins should be accomplished:
1. An init.d script should run so that at boot the application itself is run
2. MONIT ([login to view URL]) should be used to monitor the application and restart it if unresponsive.
3. NGINX should be used as a front server for the application ([login to view URL]).
4. NGINX should be set-up so that if the application is not responding, it switches to a FastCGI implementation (see [http://wiki.**nginx**.org/NginxHttpUpstreamModule][1] (look at fail_timeout))
All development should be on users own machine. For the purposes of this project, a simple php application (such as echo "Hello World), should be used. Deliverables are all config / init files (to the extent different than Ubuntu 10.10 stock) and a basic howto on setting it up

To confirm - all work on this project needs to be done on Coder's own environment. We will install hiphop per [login to view URL], but Coder should recommend place to install hiphop.
