Available Position: Economic Consultant Start: Current Opportunity (Latin America) We are looking for graduates in economics and business, with 1-3 years’ business experience to take up this varied and challenging position in a dynamic, international and fast growing company. We work with governments, ministries, local authorities and agencies to develop policies, strategies and performance standards that meet their needs. Much of GDP's work for its government clients involves substantial levels of contact with international corporate investors and business intermediaries. About this Role: Latin America GDP's economic consultancy is delivered by a core team of consultants, and a network of associates worldwide. Our Latin America research and analytical team is based in London, Bogotá, Lima, México City and San Salvador. The team requires two additional exceptional resources to manage existing and future client assignments, as well as to help develop GDP’s products and services in the face of new opportunities as well as intense competition. Specifically this role calls for support on consulting projects, research and analysis (quantitative and qualitative), research on specific topics for consulting projects, assistance and support consultants in customer projects, preparation of client reports, problems solving and other activities related to the projects. Exceptionally capable colleagues will lead on client assignments, travel and meet with clients and attend conferences in the region. Education and Skills Profile A Masters in business, finance or economics, with some direct academic and business experience in macro economic issues. Successful candidates will have an impressive masters background, complemented by 1-3 years’ relevant business experience. You need to show you have excelled in research and analytical competence, teamwork and communication skills. We require very high competence in MS Office, other IT systems and tools. English and Spanish language proficiency is essential (bilingual). Work Location With the Latin America team in the office or partly from home, working either from London, Bogotá, Lima, México City and San Salvador. Contract Arrangements A competitive remuneration package will be offered to successful new consultants, who will then be able to choose options for long-term engagement with GDP Global.
