Hi,

I am looking for a simple script in python which converts an ASCII string to EBCDIC format. I need it to be compatible with python v3.0. The way the method should work is that an ASCII string will be passed to it and it will return the string in EBCDIC format.

For example this is an ascii string ";UUU DPX BEGIN FLEXIBLE 0600 "

I will pass it to the script and it should convert it to this ebcdic string "^äää@Ä×ç@ÂÅÇÉÕ@ÆÓÅçÉÂÓÅ@ðöðð"
