The Role Are you a talented artist with a passion for gaming and are looking for a way to break into the mobile games industry? We are currently seeking an Associate Production Artist to join our team of talented game professionals. The Associate Production Artist will work closely with our art directors on all of our game projects, including our hit game “Battle Camp”. Our ideal candidate must be able to take concept ideas and transform/create finished, high quality production art assets. Having a keen eye for detail is imperative, and the successful person will be passionate about their work, and deadline driven. This role will work primarily in Illustrator. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position, and the work will be done remotely. Candidates identified to continue in the process will be asked to complete an art exercise. Responsibilities - Produce high quality art assets across the board (environment, character, and background art, etc.) under the direction of the Art Directors - Meet set deadlines with completed and fully realized art assets - Work in a highly collaborative environment to translate concept art into full realized production assets. - Able to work efficiently to meet a set deadline and work with the Art Directors on feedback to achieve the necessary quality. - Communicate with our team when assistance is needed or challenges are presented on the project Minimum Qualifications - Portfolio: (1) Various isometric game design related art pieces (2) Vector style art pieces (3) Diverse range of art styles and techniques - Solid background in traditional arts, and a good understanding of form, shape, lighting, structure and silhouette - Large visual database and a passion for video games - Experience working with deadlines, and a deadline driven mentality to complete your work - Experience with creation of isometric characters, props, and environments. - Solid understanding and comfortability with both Photoshop and Illustrator - High degree of self motivation and discipline While not required, the following attributes will help set you apart from the other candidates: Associates or Bachelor of Arts degrees from an accredited institution in a related field Sound Good?
