DIGITAL IMAGE EDITING - Ongoing Freelance Image Enhancement work using CS Photoshop & Illustrator

We are looking for one or two Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator Freelancers with an excellent understanding of making exactly the right image for both client proofs and for pre-press. Our customers want an image that they can hang on their walls and that they will genuinely love, and I want our customers to keep coming back to us for more prints. Your job is to make the image burst off the page! Can you do this? This is an ongoing commitment and our jobs are going to be daily in the future, that is why I don't want to rely on just one freelancer - everyone needs time off, but I can keep 2 people quite busy. I am both price sensitive and quality sensitive, so the rates you offer and your outstanding ability to produce excellent results in Photoshop or Illustrator will both be important factors, but if you are good and quick and disciplined in getting the work back to us, then we can all benefit. What do I need you from you? You will receive the customer image, and any requests they have asked for. You will need to be skilled in applying the necessary Photoshop add-ons, and able to give consistently good results to us. A lot of images arrive from handphones, which are typically 72 dpi. All images first need to be resized to either: 150 dpi - for Art Paper prints 200 dpi - for Canvas prints 300 dpi - for Photographic Paper prints Then they need to be cropped to the dimensions that customers have ordered. For canvas prints this will also require a wrap, which might be a gallery wrap, a mirror wrap, or a block border wrap. The depth of the wrap will depend on the size of the frame being used. We will provide you with examples of each of the following effects to be used, and expect you to provide us with some test results to show that you can do this. Regular Effect Options that may be required are: Adjust and optimize images to make them look their best. Depending on the need of each photo you will optimize contrast, image sharpness, resolution, saturation, and remove red eye. Convert to "Black & White" Convert to "Sepia" Convert to "Vintage" Convert to "Lomo" Create a "Colour Isolate" effect Convert to "Digital Paint" Convert to "Oil Painting" Convert to "Comic Book" Convert to "Colour Sketch" Convert to "Pop Art" Additional Advanced Image Options that may be requested include: "Touch Up" - which includes: - Removal of moles, scars and facial blemishes - Adding text to a photo - Whiten teeth - Remove small scratches and imperfections from a photo - Removal of small objects (i.e. signs, wires, etc) "Design Enhancement" - which includes: - Add or remove people - Add or remove large objects (i.e. buses, cars, etc.) - Digital Facelift - And anything from "Touch Up" level "Design Makeover" - a complete photo restoration, which includes: - Background replacement - Restore torn, stained or faded photographs - Anything else from the above levels Detailed job requirements can be discussed at a later date. Your ability to use a Wacom or digital tablet would be appreciated. If you are the right freelancer for this job, you will enjoy the regular variety that will come from working with us. The hours and the rate I have set can be varied, e.g. as I cannot stipulate a range (for example between 3-12 hours) I have set a minimum. It depends on requirements.
