CMS stripping

what I am looking for is someone that is familiar with ExponentCMS I need someone that has worked with it before, that knows it, and understands how it works. the goal is to lighten it's size from nearly 30 MB to under 10MB (on-disk size), I have stripped out much, and have it down to a functional state at just under 20mb, my issue is now that I am not familiar with the YIU module, and am unsure whether I can delete modules from the tree without causing problems. also I wish to have it modified so that if I want to I can add modules back in by copying them into place. the other area is the FCK editor I have it down to about 800kb, I have seen it stripped down further and still be functional, let me know if this is possible. it seems that a majority of the size is located in the "external" folder, I am aware that I can strip out templates so please don't do this, I already have that down to 1 template. also I would like to have someone see if the template system can be changed without headaches from the full smarty to "template lite" this is supposed to be a dropin replacement for the smarty system, but I must have missed some variables on the config to get it to work. in the external folder, there are 2 folders that contain a bulk of the storage space: editor (fckeditor), and yui. I think that by removing the depreciated modules, from the options, and removing them from the tree, as well as finding any unused sections in the yui, the size can be greatly reduced. by replacing the smarty system with the template lite will also reduce size by about 1/4 mb I think this is all that would be left to reduce the size so I may not get to where I want, but again the goal is to make it as small as possible. post a pm and let me know your thoughts on what I am after and whether or not it would be worth working thru everything. also if you are interested in doing this in advance of the project being awarded, so I can see what the size can be reduced to that would be great. also whether or not it would be worth doing, what about stripping out all postgres related info as I am only using the mysql. I have also stripped out all lang files except for english. ps I have already stripped out all "readme type files". thanks
