Add jQuery to a BuddyPress Widget

I am developing a new site based on WordPress and BuddyPress and I need a widget to be modified with jQuery so that its output rolls-up or down on a mouse click. Right now the widget outputs a very l-o-n-g list which you can see in the right hand column under the heading Advanced Search here: [login to view URL] (or any page except the front page). The widget is generated by the plugin BP Profile Search. I also have the plugin Buddypress Xprofile Custom Fields Type installed, and the code would need to be compatible with this plugin as well. The way I would prefer the job to be handled is for it to be developed on a standard installation of WordPress & BuddyPress where it can be demonstrated that the code works, after which I make payment before installing it on my site.
