I need a coder (or coders) familiar with developing for Mobile Phone platforms, mobile networking, and intergration with web based back end. Knowledge of internet technologies such as XML, PHP and portal scripting is required. I need two applications that act as one. The frontend is to be deployed on mobile phones, powered by the backend on a server. I need a website/server with a content management system, multiple user levels and restricted access controls. Each user account must be stored in a format that allows the data to be access from the application running on the mobile phone, over a wireless network. Other users will be able to send and retrieve data (images, text, ec) to and from the server. Administrators should also be able to monitor the data exchanges as they happen, updated on the fly. This has the potential to be a very fun project that could be very challenging! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The frontend must run on most modern Mobile Phone platforms. The user must have bluetooth, a camera and wi-fi networking to use the application so most phones with these features will be able to run JAVA applications. I'm not as familiar as I'd like to be with development platforms for mobile phones, so any recomendations would be appreciated. The backend must be accessable via all recent versions of Firefox, Opera, Safari and Internet Explorer on Mac and PC platforms, but could run any kind of server that would suit such an application.
