I am looking to gather research on blogs and need a script to automate the process and eliminate data entry drudgery. also I have bought a website template that I need the info intergreated into the site. I would like to enter a keyword, like MTV,music, style, entertainment onto a Web form and have returned to a database the top 100 blogs from Technorati. In addition I would like as much info about the sites as I can get: url, links, and the Alexa traffic data: av traffic rank, av reach, av page views per user. A basic database query & export to a tabbed flatfile will be perfect for analysis. A lot of this should be available via the sites API's (and I will get a developer key if needed) but if not then screen-scraped. In terms of deliverables I am looking for a script and database, a basic UI (nothing pretty needed), installation and configuration on my web hosting account (I can setup you up with dev access if that is easier). Quick turn around is of course a plus.
