**Requirements:**
An elegant look and feel.
Easy navigation facilities.
Tick timers on individual items, automatic and manual set up by Admin.
Administrator area needs to have simple utility to control every aspect of the website, settings, customers, auctions, bids, billing, etc. Need to know how many customers are logged-in and ready to bid.
Scheduled opening of future auctions (like [url removed, login to view]) and drop down menu for different categories of auctions.
Administrator must be able to change auction clock countdown period manually and automatically (for example, when price reaches £10 then time is reset to 30s instead of 1 minute).
Secure payment system using Paypal and other Merchant Accounts. Must have possibility to add more payment options.
Total amount received from customers, bid data and winners’ details should be shown in the admin section with names, dates, etc. Key data on customers should also be available in table and chart formats.
Customers can get free credit on signup and by referring friends to the site who become members. Promotion codes facility on checkout for coupon driven discounts.
Automated bidding system which places bids for customers
The site must have simple and clean design and easily upgradeable in the future.
The site will need multi-currency and multi-language features in the future.
