ActionScript developer / designer

Seeking a Senior Flash Developer with 4+ years hands-on experience working with ActionScript 2.0 ??" preferably within a software development environment. Properly qualified applicants will have proficiency with quantitative thinking. Experience using Macromedia Flex and developing 2-D/3-D graphs and charting in Macromedia Flash is required. Familiarity using design patterns such as the Model View Controller (MVC) is a plus. You will be working within a fast-paced project team, toward the development of a highly interactive user interface (UI). Project engagement is estimated until late-mid September, with potential follow-up work. May require travel to San Francisco, CA to meet with client and assist in focus group testing. All expenses will be paid. This is a high visibility project for a very high profile technology-industry client headquartered in Northern California. _Location requirement: _This project requires an on-site presence in Bethesda, MD for the duration of the project _Salary/rate:_ $35-$50/hour _Specific skills required: _ *Macromedia Flash *ActionScript 2.0 (object oriented) *Macromedia Flex; Flex Builder _Experience in the following areas a plus: _ *Java application development *XML *SOAP *Model View Controller (MVC) process *n-tier development ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
