**Desktop Blogging

**I need a small piece of software and some basic PHP to create a new style of blogging. So, there are 2 parts of the bid:

1) client application (to be written in VB)

2) the PHP code

Both are easily written. The client generates XML for the current entry, downloads the [url removed, login to view] from the ftp site, and appends the new XML to the top of the Blog.XML. The PHP script will then generate [url removed, login to view] from the Blog.XML. The client then manages your accounts, so you can have different accounts and different directories.

You can use, [_[url removed, login to view]][1]for all of the ini work, to keep it simple and neat.

**The client application:**

I need the client to live in the system tray. See Attached ZIP File.

**Functionality:**

Each account will generate an [url removed, login to view] in the Accounts Directory (4g) and a sub directory for the account (named ACCOUNT NAME) where the current XML to be appended will be stored when the account is created

The only real functionality that the program has, other than being a pretty interface for a notepad, is in the ftping to each accounts(UPLOAD), downloading the hosted [url removed, login to view] and appending it with the new XML in the ACCOUNT NAME sub directory.

The program will have to keep track of what accounts have new material or can just query the ACCOUNT NAME subdirectories for directories larger than 0.

**The PHP code:**

Nothing fancy here, just take the [url removed, login to view] and generate the format from the FORMAT Field.
