Greetings everyone, I have a question if anyone has any advice it is greatly appreciated. I am looking for a backup tool that I can run on my local computer (Windows XP) and will connect to a remote server (Linux) on a daily schedule(Task), which will download the specified folders to my local computer. The criteria I am looking for in a tool are: Roughly around $50(but open source, freeware is always nice) Can download an entire folder and not be limited to one file Schedule as many backup tasks daily, monthly, as wanted Automatically compresses the folders/files into a single zip Automatically renames the zip files, so it doesn’t rewrite the previous I am quite sure I could have this tool programmed, but for now I would like to find a tool already out on the market.
